Dee is a registered solid chestnut paint mare who was born on April 24, 2000. She is about 15.2hh. She and her buddy Phoenix came to me together from a lady who was stopping by farms asking if anyone was looking for some horses to buy. I took the bait and met Dee and Phoenix on a lovely small property not too far from where I was at the time. Dee is a retired show horse who showed for many years. Her previous owner bought her for their young daughter to show and take lessons on. Unfortunately, we all must grow up and the daughter was not able to take Dee along with her for the next part of her life. Dee also got to live a life of luxury for quite a few years before coming to my program to work. Dee is not a fan of small kids and is therefore used for older kids and intermediate and up riders. She is a fun ride with her own opinions! Her best buddy is Trixie. She is a great walk/trot/canter horse.
