Trixie is my gentle giant. She is a 16.2hh Belgian mare who was an Amish workhorse for most of her life. She was born on January 15, 1997. Trixie is the sweetest most gentle big girl and all the kids love riding her. Slow and steady is her game. She LOVES to be brushed and fussed over. When I got Trixie she had her hair cut short and was extremely skinny. She now has beautiful long locks and loves to have her hair braided. She thoroughly enjoys baths and water in the summer. She much prefers cold weather to warm. Her best buddy is Dee. She is a great walk/trot horse though as she is getting older she is slowing down more. She is perfect for introducing dads and bigger riders to horses and again, the young kids love riding her. I think they like feeling so tall!
